My name is Whitney and I am a Ofsted registered childminder in Sydenham Hill area (SE26).
I’ve worked within the early years settings for 9 years. Having the passion of working with children from a very young age, has encouraged me to complete my level 2 & 3 as well as a degree within early childhood studies.
I provide an enabling and nurturing environment with the goal and intent to promote the development and wellbeing for all of my children who attend my setting. Following the Early Years Foundation Stage (statutory framework); together my assistants and I work together to provide a stimulating environment for children to explore through different means of play.
My Qualifications
First aid training, DBS, safeguard training, BA Honours in Early Childhood Studies, Level 2&3 in Childcare, Ofsted Registered

My son was with Whitney for a couple of months before starting school nursery and he was very happy there. He learnt a lot and made new friends. The atmosphere is very loving and welcoming. I would absolutely recommend her!

I am eternally grateful for Haven House Childminding and Whitney for creating a safe environment for my daughter to grow and flourish. Whitney has cared for my daughter the past 4 years, and has built a strong relationship with her.

Whitney looked after my twin girls when they were 5 months old (We unfortunately were only able to stay with her for a couple of months before we moved out of the area.) She is a cheerful, kind person who looked after the girls with patience and calm. They always came home from her so relaxed and happy, I know they were given great care by her.
