My Experience

I have worked in 3 nurseries over the past 8 years, specifically with children ages 0-5. I am currently a deputy manager of a busy nursery where i’m in charge of a team of 10 women. I am a big advocate for building children’s independence and have put this in to my practise by encouraging children to serve their own food, pour their own drinks, wash their own hands and potty train too. My usual day also consists of planning exciting activities to help stimulate and promote the children’s learning, carrying out assessments of key children, carrying out 2 year checks with the local health visitor, changing nappies, story telling, engaging in role play, making bottles, leading baby yoga sessions, supporting SEN children and overall ensuring the children’s safety and well-being needs are met. I have extensive knowledge of the EYFS and level 3 safeguarding training. I also teach ‘makaton’ which is a form of British Sign Language, simplified for children. I am able to carry out light tasks such as laundry and cooking.

I am not Ofsted registered however willing to apply if needed.

My Availability

I am only interested in full time employment. I am happy to work the occasional weekend with enough notice too.
My notice period is 5 weeks with my current employer.

• Babysitting from £14.00 per hour
• Nannying from £14.00 per hour (net)
