About Me
We have a daughter aged 3 and now have a son who we need childcare for from February 2024. He will be 10 months. We live in South Norwood - I am a teacher in Balham and my husband works for the University of Law.
My Requirements
We are looking for an experienced childminder for our second child beginning in mid-Feb. We live in South Norwood and would love someone close to home.
Our new hours have yet to be negotiated with work but we are hoping to only need childcare for four days a week.
We have really enjoyed using Magda Gerber’s respectful parenting approach promoting lots of independent play, respectful language and praising effort, and are doing our best to raise our daughter to be an independent, resilient, empathetic person, not limited by gender stereotypes.
We managed to avoid TV and refined sugar for the first two years of our daughter’s life and ideally would do the same for our son.
We would love someone who shares our philosophy.
Our hours are 7.30 am drop off and 5.00pm pick up, sometimes 6.
