Hi, my name is Miriam. I am currently living in Southwell, Nottinghamshire. I would describe myself as a fun, creative and reliable person who loves spending time with children and caring for others. I also really enjoy spending time in nature and doing various arts and crafts. I feel that many children I have worked with in the past have warmed to me very easily, I believe this to be because of my friendly, calm and patient nature. In addition to childcare I am also more than happy to cook and help around the house.
My Experience
I have over 3 years experience working with children in various settings including; working in paediatrics as a physiotherapy student, as an outdoor activity and field studies instructor for 2 years and as a play worker at a local primary school. I also have experience working with SEN and neurodivergent children and young people. In addition to this I also have further volunteering experience at holiday clubs and nurseries.
