I am 27 and based in South East london. I am a charismatic and creative individual with a passion for the arts, particularly drama and story-telling. For the last 7 years my work has been focused on supporting children and young people to thrive. I have 5-years experience working as a nanny. 2 years experience as a learning support assistant in an early years setting, working specifically with SEN children, and extensive experience as a workshop leader providing creative and engaging workshops for large groups of children and young people age 8 - 18. I have a strong commitment and knowledge to children’s learning and development and I am a friendly and active person who thrives at being creative with children. I am caring, healthy and very reliable.
My Experience
As a nanny, I have been responsible for picking and dropping children off at nursery. I was also responsible for taking them out on activity days, swimming, to the park or for a walk if the weather was good. If we were spending time indoors, then I would encourage creative play, storytelling, painting and practicing basic literacy and numeracy skills in a fun way. I would also be responsible for lunch / dinner time and bath and bedtime. Due to being an artist, I am an outgoing and friendly person who enjoys communicating with children and young people. I have had lots of experience leading workshops in an education / creative setting. In my other professional roles I have been Designated Safeguarding Lead for an arts organisation and hold an enhanced DBS check.
