About Me
I am 43 years old, I have 3 children, Molly 18 years, Lachlan 16 years and Evie 11 years. I love spending time with my family, we enjoy walking, swimming and cycling. My favourite way to relax is to cook. I love cooking, especially cakes!!
My Experience
I was an unqualified nanny for ten years during which time I had my 2 eldest children. I took them to work with me, but when I had my third child it became more difficult. I took a break from nannying and worked as an HCA at southmead hospital for 2 years. While working here I trained to become a teaching assistant, once qualified I secured a position at a local primary school looking after a little boy with special needs. In July 2011, my contract came to an end after 4 years. I have since been looking after a gorgeous little boy and he has now started nursery.
My Qualifications
Nvq 2 teaching assistant
Level 3 cache certificate in working with young children with special needs.
Makaton level 1 & 2.
First aid certificate.
I am ofsted registered and have recently undergone an ofsted inspection, which I passed!

Jo was Nanny to our son for nearly 3 years. She joined our family when Rowan was 5 months old and provided the best care we could have asked for. Jo was always doing something interesting, exciting and educational with Rowan; he has flourished into a happy, chatty and interested little boy as a result of this. Jo was flexible, helpful and struck a great balance between professionalism and being part of our family. Jo has a natural ability with children, she is able to bond with them quickly and bring out the very best in them, her own fabulous children are proof of this! I cant recommend Jo enough, she would be an asset to any family. I am more than happy to provide a reference for Jo.
