About Me

Hi, My name is Georgia. I am from London (more specifically, Wimbledon) but, have spent the past two years studying at university in the U.S. as well as competing as a collegiate student-athlete. I have been in the childcare industry for six years (currently in my seventh year). Due to unforeseen circumstances, I am moving back to London to finish my degree and am looking for nanny positions. I have so far enjoyed my time working in the childcare industry because I find it very rewarding and love that no two days look quite the same as a nanny. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, baking, spending time with friends and family, and being outdoors.

My Experience

I have extensive childcare experience initially entering the field of childcare as a Tennis Coach followed by babysitting. Once the pandemic hit, I moved to nannying initially part-time and then full-time. Additionally, working as a tennis coach going into nurseries. However the past two years, I have worked as a seasonal nanny covering both full-time and part-time roles.
Over the years I have worked with multiple families and gained experience working with twins, multiple children, special needs (in sole charge and shared care positions). Throughout my time in the industry I have helped with potty training, homeschooling (during the pandemic), homework etc. I have looked after children from newborn to 14 years old.
Each role has had different responsibilities depending on whether the role being ad-hoc, part-time or full-time. I have done the school run, taught children how to bake, organise playdates and after school activities, park trips, days out (such as to museums and libraries), light house work (related to the children), running errands to name a few.
If it sounds like I could be a good fit please reach out. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile.

My Qualifications

I am DBS checked and have been First Aid certified. I have done safeguarding training. I also have an LTA Level 1 and LTA Level 2 Coaching Qualifications for coaching tennis. I don't have any childcare qualifications but I have a lot of experience.
