I am a friendly, responsible 31-year-old from London with over a decade of childcare experience, looking for a long-term, part-time nannying position.
I'm creative, warm, and fun-loving. I'm a big lover of books and stories, and have always shared this with the children I've looked after. I love cooking, and am happy to prepare meals and help out with housework. I'm still close with all the families I've worked for, and have great references.
My Experience
2023-present nanny/housekeeper for a family with three kids aged 10, 8 and 5.
From 2020-2022 I worked as an after school nanny in Hampstead for a family with two wonderful girls (7 and 9) who have since moved to the US. I've also done regular babysitting for other families in the area throughout this time, for kids ranging in age from 2 to 13.
From 2017-2019 I was an after school nanny for a lovely family in Philadelphia. I was responsible for picking the children (aged 6 and 9) up from school, taking them to and from any extracurricular activities they had, and helping with homework. I also occasionally babysat, and on these nights I prepared healthy meals for the kids and put them to bed.
Before this, I was an au pair in Norway, and looked after a boy and girl aged 8 and 11 (and their border collie!). Here, I regularly cooked for the family, and did light housework. I came up with games and activities to play with the kids, as well as supervising their independent play.
In 2011 I spent 6 months as an au pair in Germany for 2 children aged 3 and 6. One of these children is asthmatic and suffers from severe allergies, and I was responsible for administering his daily medications. During this time also worked part time at the local Kindergarten, where I supervised a group of 15 children aged between 2 and 6.
My Qualifications
Early Years Care Education Course, OCN Level 3 Accredited
MFA in Creative Writing from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey
BA in Liberal Arts & Sciences from University of Amsterdam
My Availability
I'm currently available for part time work on Mondays and Wednesdays.
