Hello! My name is Ivana, I’m 23 and I’m from Slovakia. I just finished my bachelor's degree in Criminology and I’m currently a Master's student at the University of Portsmouth. I am the eldest child in my family, therefore I grew up around children and when I was older babysat my cousin as well as my neighbours'/friends' children.
My Experience
My most recent babysitting experience was taking care of a 2-year-old boy. My main duties were to feed him dinner, play with him, read him a book and put him to sleep.
At the start of my 2nd year of university, I was taking care of two children aged 6 and 7 however, this was only for a couple of months as our schedules were clashing. I used to pick them up from school, give them some lunch, help them with their homework and play with them until their parents got back home.
In 2020, I was an au pair in Cambridge for a year, where I took care of two kids aged 9 and 13 and their dog. My main duties were to take the dog out, pick up the 9-year-old boy from school, give him some lunch, play with him and help him with his homework. During the pandemic and school holidays, I was taking care of him the whole day. I was also cooking for the family.
While in high school in Slovakia, I used to take care of two kids for 4 years. When I started babysitting them they were 6 and 4. I took care of them 3 times a week. I used to collect them from school and nursery, make some easy lunch, play with them and help them with homework.

I’m first-aid qualified.
Most of my experience is with kids aged 3-15 years old.
