About Me
I am a happy, caring and enthusiastic person who loves spending time with my son and watching him develop into his own character.
Since returning to work in 2020 I missed being with my son and watching him grow, I then got made redundant and I thought I would take this time to become a childminder - allowing me to be with my son and helping others learn and develop in their starts in life.
I offer a welcoming environment with lots of play, crafts, music and trips around the village and to the park and woods.
The other members of my family are my husband (DBS checked), two dachshunds (Mac and Leicester) and a tortoise named Donny. Whilst the majority of the time the dogs will be kept in another room, if you want your little one to meet them, they are very friendly and used to children.
My Experience
I am a mum to a 18 month old and have experience with looking after 2 - 5 year olds from my nieces and nephew.
I have spent nearly a decade caring for animals and my calm and caring nature will allow me to give your child a safe, secure and fun environment so they can learn and develop to their fullest potential.
My Qualifications
I have completed a paediatric first aid course.
I have completed a Level 2 Food Safety course.
I have been DBS checked.
I have completed numerous childcare courses including Safeguarding and Welfare, Implementing Early Years Foundation Stage, Introduction to Forest School, ADHD course and Autism courses.
I also have a degree in Forensic Science , which although not really relevant, it may come in handy with exploring and learning about science!
My Availability

I am available 8am - 6pm Monday - Friday.
I am available to do school drop offs / collection from Temple Herdewyke primary school.
I can be flexible depending on circumstances so please get in touch if you are looking for slightly different hours.
