About Me
I am currently full but available for occasional Fridays and weekends for nannying/ weddings/ overnight work.
I will be going on maternity leave from December and so will not be taking any bookings for ad hoc work from mid November.
But now taking bookings for any weddings & overnight work from Spring 2025. Please get in touch if you need any wedding childcare.

I've had some great feedback from weddings I've done. It is a great way for you to be able to relax and enjoy the wedding without having to worry about your little ones naps/ needs throughout the day. The children can be involved as much as you wish throughout the day. I also offer overnights either side of the wedding if you wish. Please get in touch if you have any more questions on this.
I am a Plymouth University graduate with a degree in Education Studies. I have been a nanny for over 10 years and have experience working with children of all ages. This varies from working in schools, teaching abroad, girlguiding but mostly nannying.
I enjoy the outdoors in my spare time and exploring new places here in the UK or abroad!
I try to stay active with the children and you'll often find us out and about at the local parks, farms, woodland areas or even the beach. I also love reading with the children and like to get them involved in the local library by getting them a library card and also attending the library rhyme time.
I try to be very child focused and once the children are able to communicate, I will let them be involved in what we get up to each day!

My Experience
I have a range of experience working with children from new born to teenagers and can provide many references. I have worked in a variety of settings including teaching and support staff. I was a guide leader for several years and am now a Brownie leader in Totterdown. I have been nannying for 11 years, for various families and am incredibly adaptable and like to think I can adjust well to different rules that each family follow.
My Qualifications
I have 12 GCSE's, mostly A's and B's and also passed my A levels and have a degree in Education Studies.
I also have a full paediatric first aid certificate and am Ofsted registered.
My Availability
I am now full Monday to Thursday. I am available for occasional ad hoc Friday work and some weekends / evening work. From July 2024 I will have more availability.
I specialise in wedding nannying too.

Rhi is one of a kind, we were so lucky to find her. She was a brilliant nanny to our son as part of a nanny share with another girl. Every day the kids went out somewhere interesting, and she always came up with fun activities to keep them entertained. It was so reassuring to know our child was in safe hands and felt safe and secure in her care. I highly recommend her.

Rhiannon is a wonderfully reassuring safe pair of hands, she’s kind, fun, creative and thoughtful. Rhiannon arrives on time, is super communicative and will do whatever you need to get you out the door, she has extensive childcare experience, so is an excellent choice for babysitting

We have known Rhi since September 2018 when she started looking after our 10-month yr old girl in a nanny share with another family. We have employed her on rolling contracts and with different nanny share families ever since.
If you are working with her on a nanny share - don't get put off by it, it has endless advantages (different location for the childcare, a playmate for your child, constant lessons in negotiation and sociability).
She been fantastic with our daughter in terms of bespoke childcare - whether it is 'staying in' and focussing on child-led activities (art, reading, imaginative play, cooking) or 'being out' (parks, museums, the zoo) - her care is a success in the eyes of our child every day. We get photo updates every day as to what our daughter has been up to, funny things she has said etc) - we love that aspect of it.
Rhi is qualified, comes with great references and works with your family at the most challenging of times. She is calm, measured and honest with her advice. But, she isn't a preacher. She works around you, but compliments your family in the most positive of ways.

With no family close by, my husband and I have been the sole carers for our two boys their entire lives. Now the boys are both at school and we have both gone back to work we rely on childcare for school holidays. Because of that, we are over-cautious parents who don't take lightly the dangers of inviting a relative stranger into our home to look after the most precious things in our world but we could not have wished for a better more reassuring childminder than Rhiannon. Throughout the background check process, she was accommodating, efficient, professional, and gave genuine reasons for wanting the job alongside her current clients and politely managed our expectations around her other clients coming first as our work was not regular and even recommended we created a bank of ad hoc childminders, which was great advice that we've taken on board. Most importantly our boys absolutely loved her and we felt totally safe and secure knowing they were in her capable hands, she has a lot of childcare experience and clearly loves kids. Every day she turned up in good time, was very presentable and polite and even managed to sort out our complicated library card issue with the library! And I especially love that she always replies to my texts very quickly. Rhiannon will always be our first port of call for future bookings so goes without saying I would recommend her without reservation.

Rhiannon currently looks after our son 4 days a week and is a brilliant Nanny. She is calm, creative, caring, reliable and really flexible. I do not know what we would do without her!
