About Me
I care for a maximum of 3 under 5s at any one time, and use my local green spaces as a learning environment every day. I’m Forest Education trained so I help children to learn and develop (no matter how little!) using the great outdoors. As all the children are preschool age, they can form strong friendships and support one another to reach their next milestone.
I’ve also undertaken training in safe sleep and the EYFS curriculum. I make home-cooked meals everyday, and provide a caring, home-from-home environment for little ones. I’m truly passionate about helping children grow and flourish.
My Experience
I worked in nursery's for 5 years and after having my own child who is 3 years old and goes to full time nursery I decided to have a career in childminding. I have a degree in child psychology and a level 3 diploma in Childcare. I have all my safeguarding and welfare training certificates and a up to date DBS and First aid certificate.
My Qualifications
Level 3 qualified in childcare, Childcare Psychology degree. Safeguarding and welfare diploma.

I was thrilled to find that Sonia had a place for my son. She is such a lovely person and very good with children. She helped my son settling in with a lot of patience being warm and friendly. There are a variety of toys and activities that helped in development. It really is a home from home and my son enjoys being there ❤️

Sonia has been looking after our daughter coming up to a year now and has been great. She has provided a home away from home and has settled in so well. She is very convenient and accommodating for any last min request. Our daughter loves going to Sonia and we are at ease when our daughter is with Sonia.

my son has been with her for a year...he has learned a lot during this whole period...and he loves Sonia so much that on his days off he tells me that he misses her.... she is a real aunt! I recommend it from the bottom of my heart...it's the best choice for your child
