About Me
I am passionate about teaching and have a lot of enthusiasm and drive. I am very patient and ensure that my lessons are well planned and engaging. I am only offering online tutoring.
My Experience
I love teaching and creating an imaginative learning environment. I believe every child can learn and grow in a safe stimulating space. I strongly believe intelligence and learning come from a positive attitude. Both from the teacher and the learner. I promote a Growth Mindset in my classes.

I am a certified teacher of English and Drama. I have a Masters in Education and a Bachelors degree in English and Drama. I have experience of teaching Speech and Drama in Singapore. I have taught students public speaking, pronunciation development, interview techniques and LAMDA qualifications.
I am currently employed full time teaching Secondary School GCSE English Literature and Language. This allows me to keep abreast of the latest curriculum changes.
My endeavor as a teacher of English and Drama is to inspire learners to think for themselves. Socrates said ‘I cannot teach anybody anything I can only make them think.’ This is a philosophy I strongly believe. I teach my students to be independent critical thinkers and speakers. I encourage collaborative working and discussion. I also build a child's confidence.
When learners say to me ‘I can’t do it.
I respond with ‘I can’t do it YET!.’
English Literature and Language is accessible to all learners. It might just be the case that your child needs more one to one support. that they can't get in the classroom with 30 other children.
Teaching is a specialist profession one which requires knowledge, time and patience.
