About Me
Hi, I'm Sue Oscroft. I run Monkey Business Childminding which is an Ofsted registered childminding service with an enhanced CRB and first aid training. I live in West Melton/Wath-Upon-Dearne in Rotherham. I have 3 teenage daughters(17, 19 and 21) and a husband. My husband and my daughters all have enhanced CRBs. I live with my husband and youngest daughter (my two eldest daughters are at University) in a detached house with secure garden containing a wide variety of play equipment and have a grassed area with play equipment just behind my garden.I also have a King Charles Spaniel who is very good natured.
I offer free 15 hours funded childcare/ early education places to all 3 and 4 year olds ( if not using this entitlement in Nursery/pre-school) and to eligible 2 year olds.
My Experience
I am qualified as a teacher so have experience of looking after and teaching children 3 to 11 (including the Early Years Foundation Stage). I have also brought up 3 children of my own so I have experience of children right from birth to adulthood.
My Qualifications
Formal qualifications:-
B.A. degree, Post Graduate Certificate of Education(PGCE), O levels and A levels.
Childminding qualifications:-
Paediatric First Aid, Pre-registration Childminding course, courses in safeguarding, Child Development (1 and 2), Planning, Observing and Assessing, SEAD (Social and Emotional Aspects of Development) and Treasure Baskets and Heuristic Play.
My Availability
I am available from 7.30 am until 5.30 pm Monday to Friday.
