About Me
I am a 53 year old mother of two and a grandmother of four aged between 1 and 9 years. I have babysitting, parenting, grandparenting, newborn and twins experience as well as over 12 years experience in the Health and Social Care sector.
I have successfully gained:
NCFE CACHE Level 3 Award in Preparing to Work in Home Based Childcare to compliment my personal experience.
Full Paediatric First Aid Certificate dated: 17th August 2024. Valid for three years. Certificate meets the full EYFS/DfE and Ofsted criteria for Early Years.
I am currently studying:
TQUK Level 2 Certificate in Special Educational Needs and Disability. This is an online course via London South East Colleges.
I have a valid Enhanced DBS check certificate.
I have many skills which are transferable and continuing to learn new skills and gain further knowledge and qualifications in childcare.
I am a hard-working, creative and mature person who loves spending time with my family, especially my grandchildren who are fun to be around. I love watching them grow and develop into their own individual self. I would love the opportunity to extend this outside of my family. Adults can inspire children but children also inspire adults too. The children of today are the adults of tomorrow.
I can accommodate with very local school drop offs, wider location school pick ups, preparing meals for your children, assisting with homework, reading stories, baking, engaging in arts and crafts, sitting with your children to watch their favourite film, play board games, jigsaw puzzles and accompany on outdoor adventures to local parks, greenspaces, nature walks, etc. I am available during school holidays too.
I will be covered by insurance for nannying and babysitting.
My Experience
I have been a mother for 33+ years to two children and am a grandparent to four amazing grandchildren, aged between1 and 9 years. I love my family and cherish them with all my heart. I understand family life yet understand parents may want and/or need to work as well as deserve some me time or couple time.

I am a non-driver so my travel expenses is to be covered by the job if the time of finishing is beyond 21:00. So, a paid taxi home will be required if distance would require public transport.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.85 per hour
- Nannying from £13.00 per hour (gross)
Nannying rate: £12.85 per hour for up two children which is my maximum of children per family.
Babysitting rate: £11.00 per hour for up to two children. Additional children £4.00 extra per hour per child.
As I am a non-driver, travel expenses to be paid for by the job if the time of finishing is beyond 21:00. So, a paid taxi home will be required if distance would require public transport..
