About Me
I'm a passionate mother of four incredible children, ranging in age from 10 to 18. I live in Kidderminster and drive a car. I've been surrounded by children throughout my life, having grown up with siblings and with my mother working as a childminder. As a mother, I found joy in attending parenting groups, connecting with new friends, and participating in parenting courses to expand my knowledge. Volunteering at my children's primary school allowed me to engage with the little ones, leading activities, and assisting with phonics. My dedication led me to complete a teaching assistant course, and I successfully ran a PTA, generating essential funds for the school. After moving to a new area, I continued my journey, completing a foundation degree and beginning work in a day nursery. I cherish the value of treating others with respect and kindness, as I always aspire to bring out the best in everything I do.
My Experience

I have experience working with babies up to older school-age children in various settings, including day nurseries and different schools. Currently, I work with children with autism who are not in a formal setting or are unable to attend. I have also volunteered with the Barnardos children's charity, providing support to families with newborn babies in my local area.
My youngest son has additional needs and attends a special educational needs school, so I can leverage my knowledge to help others. I attend the Autism Show annually and have been working with non-verbal children with autism for the past year. I hold a clean driving license and a valid DBS check.
Furthermore, I have worked for the charity Barnardos as a family support worker, aiding families in the Wyre Forest area. Additionally, I have firsthand experience with domestic abuse and have spent time in a women's refuge.
