About Me
Hello, I'm Tammy, I am 31, wife to Callum and Mummy to my daughter aged 8, and my son aged 6. We live in Bentworth near Alton and are very fortunate to live in a beautiful bungalow on our own farm. We are surrounded by our animals (cows, horses, sheep and pygmy goats!) and the wonderful outdoors, it is the perfect place for children to play and learn; one of the many reasons for starting Tammy's Tots. The children have access to their own little play park, lots of outside space and a bright and colourful playroom, full of toys.
At Tammy's Tots we love to sing, dance, cook, get creative, but most of all have FUN!

My Experience
Before my childminding journey, I worked in childcare as a Deputy Manager for 9 years within a preschool setting. In September 2020, when my daughter started school, I decided it was my time to start childminding. I absolutely adore children and being around them watching them play, learn, develop and grow is what I enjoy most.
I have lots of expertise and knowledge around children and the importance of
their learning and development. I have helped children with speech and language delays and
behaviour difficulties and also have experience providing day to day care to a 2
year old with type 1 diabetes. I am an extremely caring, loving, thoughtful and
loyal person and will go that extra mile to help out whatever the situation is and
wherever possible, I am very passionate about what I do.
My Qualifications
I hold the following qualifications and update my training regularly:
Level 3 childcare diploma
Self regulation and behaviour management Understanding schemas
SENCO training
Level 4 Lead Safeguarding
Paediatric first aid
Level 2 Food Hygeine
Level 2 SEND
I am also ICO registered for GDPR purposes, alongside holding all relevent insurances to care for children within my home.
My Availability
I work Monday to Thursday 8am -5.30pm

We cannot rave about Tammy enough, she is all we could have hoped for in a child minder. She is kind, patient and caring and puts so much thought and effort into the activities she plans for the children.
The setting is just beautiful and the opportunities the children get to be outside and around the farm animals can’t be beaten.
Our daughter has settled in so well and gets so excited to spend time there. Couldn’t ask for more 😊
