About Me

Although I am only 23, i have roughly 6 years of experience with childminding, and can say for certain that I have a gift when it comes to childcare. Situated now in Finsbury Park, having grown up on the outskirts of Richmond park, my love of the outdoors and adventure helps me to create an environment for the children i work with that is consistently stimulating and engaging. Having just graduated from a film degree, I am heavily interested in the creative arts, which definitely help my enthusiasm towards getting children stuck in with active and arts and crafts activities! Throughout the entirety of my degree I worked part time during term time and full time on holidays for a family consisting of an 8 year old and a 10 year old, who were 12 and 14 when I left this year and were no longer in need of my help. During this job I attained an ofsted registration, first aid certificate and of course an enhanced DBS check, and am happy to get all renewed under the expense of a full time family. I was not only responsible for the children’s schedules, but also for most general housekeeping and prepping and serving dinner each night to the entire family, so have great experience when it comes to these kinds of responsibilities. Creativity and imagination are some of my own personal attributes, and ones that help me bring the upmost enthusiasm, kindness, empathy and compassion to the children i work with. Not only can i provide a mature attitude to safety and protection in a professional way as a nanny, but also a friendly and warm companion/big sister type relationship with children which helps to create a comfortable and trusting relationship; as my main goal is to help them to grow and develop in a positive way. I am incredibly flexible with hours and available short notice, as well as reliable and able to adapt to changing schedules. Please do not hesitate to contact me for further information!
