My Experience
I have a CACHE Level 3 Award in Supporting Teaching and Learning. I am very knowledgeable on supporting health and safety and safeguarding children and young people. I have a very good understanding on working with children and young people to support their well-being as well as the holistic development of children and young people. I also have a good understanding on factors that can influence a child's development and possess the appropriate skills in monitoring a child's development.
I have also completed my Level 5 TEFL Certificate. I have experience working with various age groups but primarily with children between the ages of 4 and 14. I am well versed in the creation of lessons and developing fun games that can help children learn and I am knowledgeable on how to teach speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.
Additionally, I have worked as a Camp Counsellor. This role required enthusiasm and creativity to plan sessions that were enriching, entertaining and educational. Many of the skills needed to be an excellent counsellor are also needed for day to day childcare. Resilience, enthusiasm, patience, creativity, reliability, and good judgement are all essential.
