About Me
My name is Allison and I am 52 years old, I live in an extended 4 bedroomed house in south Stevenage. I have always had a natural love of children and have 3 of my own, the youngest being 15 and my oldest being 29. I am a practicing Christian, attending a local church.
I am a very homely person and have enjoyed renovating my home with my family. We welcome all children into our family, providing a relaxed and loving environment in which they can thrive and develop.
My Experience
I have worked with children all my life, starting with running the sunday school at my church, before becoming a step mum, and then a mother. I started childminding 25 years ago when my middle child was young, and planned to do this until she went to school. However I love my job too much to give it up, and feel I have much to offer not only children of all ages, but also their families. I offer complete peace of mind to working parents that their children are being loved and cherished whilst in my care.

So happy we found Allison for a childminder as a parent that didn’t really want to leave her child but needs must Allison has really been like another parent to my son which is exactly what he needed, nothing makes me more grateful then having to leave my son with someone I fully trust and in an amazing family setting. I know that Allison wants nothing but the best for children in her care and want to say thank you for filling those moments for him where I can’t x

My son was 16 months old when Allison started to look after him. She was the one person, *hand on heart* I can fully trust with him. She's caring, loving and my son really adores her so much. If your looking for a trust worthy, caring childminder then Allison is absolutely the person for you. Thank you Allison for everything, we are truely going to miss you so much.

Allison is one of only 2 people I 100 percent trust with my little girl Alice. She's taken care of her since she was 12 weeks old. She's always been very flexible and has always done that little bit extra for us. Allison is usually the first person I go to for parenting advice as I am a first time mum and her advice is always spot on. When we went for a visit there were smiling happy children and I'll always remember this as it was one of the other little boys birthdays and everyone sang to him. I always get updates on how Alice is doing and pictures via text of how happy Alice is. Due to the fact I've changed my work I will have to change my childminder as we are going to be in a different area. I'll be really sorry not to have Allison any more. The rating Good was closest thing I could get to outstanding on here. Allison you will be missed!

We were very nervous to leave our son with a childminder and anxious about my returning to work. When our family met Allison our son instantly seemed to feel comfortable with her. Our son has quickly settled in her care, and has made loving friendships. We are are now relaxed and happy as we can see our son is so well cared for and is loving his time with Allison.
