I am a Mature Nanny seeking a part- time position , ideally over 3 days. Please take a look at my profile, as set out below and do not hesitate to contact me with any questions.
I have 30 years experience in childcare ever since my child was born. He has now left home, landing himself a fabous job and getting on the property ladder. Busy making me a very proud Mummy. My partner is a retired Police Officer.
I am a happy, outgoing person with a good sense of humor, being trustworthy, conscientious and considerate.
I offer a warm and nurturing care for children with a 'firm but fair' attitude to discipline, with consistency. I love to be with children and have a contribution to their upbringing, helping and watching them develop physically, mentally and in their self esteem. I am a natural nurturing caring person and long to be involved as an extended family. I also like to support the family and am happy to muck in with light housekeeping and general tidying, errands etc.
I have the following qualifications: NVQ level 3 in childcare learning and development and Pediatric first aid. I have previously trained in food hygiene, child protection/safeguarding, health and safety and sign language (bit rusty) and I have current CRB/DBS check which is on the yearly update system. I also have business car insurance and am Ofsted registered.
I live in the Fellpham area and am willing to travel up to 5 miles from my home. I have the use of my own vehicle with business usage insurance, having a clean driving licence for 38 years.
My Experience
I have been a childcare professional for 30 years, currently, with Ofsted for 29 years. I have worked with many families and have always been involved with children, surrounded by my godchildren and nieces and nephews for the past 45 years.
I have cared for children ages ranging from newborn to teens. I have cared for twins, from 5 months old to 6 years old.
My Qualifications
I have achieved my NVQ level 3 in Childcare, learning and development. I have an up to date first aid certificate and a food hygiene Grade 2 certificate. I have recently attended courses in Safeguarding Children, health and safety, Sign language, and Highscope. I have also attended many courses to extend my knowledge in different areas of my field.
I have a current DBS check, which is on an automatic yearly update system.
I work to show that I am able to comply to the Early Years outccome/ development matters assisting parents to monitor their child's development.

My Fees
- Nannying from £14.00 per hour (net)
My fees are negotiable but should be based on the local expected Nanny rates which range from £15 to £18 gross, I prefer to be paid via Nanny wage/ Nanny tax.
