My Summary
About Me
Hello
I am a full time nanny and have been a nanny for five years. I currently look after a 2 year old little girl and have been with her since she was 6 months old.
I have a first class social work degree (covered in-depth child development and safety).
I am also trained as a maternity nurse (OCN accredited Level 4, through Babyem).
I have worked with a variety of ages, from newborns to 12 year olds. I have travelled with my families, often proxy parent and have built up connections with families who I regularly babysit for. I am able to provide written and contactable references.
In my free time, I volunteer for Furry Ears Rescue (cat rescue). I enjoy keeping fit, reading, travelling, and spending time with my friends and family.
My Experience
I am a caring, fun and responsible person, who encourages children to use their imagination and allows the children to lead with their play. I absolutely adore working with children, and feel very lucky that this is my
job. As a nanny I am kind, nurturing, playful and flexible.
I started babysitting from age 16- I am now 25. I have always helped to look after children as my grandparents were foster carers for young babies and children and therefore I helped a lot with their care. This provided me with a good base knowledge of looking after children from a very young age.
I have worked as a professional nanny for five years. My current role is full-time, sole charge, and I look after a 2 year old little girl (since January 2024). In this role, I weaned her and introduced a variety of foods and flavours, complete all nursery duties, travel with the family, prep all meals, and ensure that her week is full of appropriate developmental activities and socialisation.
My other roles included:
-Night nanny.
-Weekend nanny (including travel abroad).
-School aged children care.
-Newborn, infant and toddler care.
I have worked mostly with newborns and under 3’s, and have now completed a level 4 maternity nurse course. I would like to extend my experience working as a maternity nurse.
My Qualifications
First Class degree- BSC (hons) Social Work 2023-Now a qualified social worker.
OCN Maternity Nurse Course (level 4)- BabyEm.
CPD Safeguarding Training and Prevent Safeguarding Training.
12-hour paediatric first aid (March 2022)

We employed Courtney to help us care for our newborn son. Our son suffered with severe reflux as a young baby which made him uncomfortable much of the time, he was so uncomfortable that sleep was a real struggle and we required some overnight help!
Courtney was very reliable and professional, with good communication from the start. She demonstrated a caring and can-do approach to the job, and I could tell that she genuinely cared about our son. During the times she looked after him we never heard any crying (very impressive given he is a young baby with painful reflux!). This added to our confidence that he was being cared for by someone with experience and skill in looking after children. As everything went so well, we have also gone on to make future bookings with Courtney.
I would recommend Courtney to any other parents as a kind, reliable and easy to work with nanny.

Courtney joined our family almost 8 weeks ago when I brought my new bundle of joy home! I contacted Courtney for an extra set of hands for my newborn and toddler (21 months old). I was a new mom recovering from a c section and needed lots of flexibility and help, especially with a fragile newborn. And this was all over the festive period!
Not only did Courtney come to the rescue, she was super flexible even over the festive period to accommodate my needs, she was excellent with the newborn, she was willing to do absolutely everything needed with a smile, and won over the heart of my very anxious toddler all in the first few days!
Courtney has a lovely way with kids, she's absolutely pleasant, punctual, reliable, and very easy to work with.
I would absolutely recommend her for anything you need childcare related. She's excellent with both my kids, and is infact still a part of our family now even though this was meant to be short term.
Thanks Courtney for everything!
