My Summary

My Experience

I have been actively taking care of children for over 14 years. I started at around 13 years old (with twins aged 18 months old) thanks to my mum, who is a nanny. She gave me a passion for taking care of children. From groups (weddings, school church...) to large families and only children, I have a vast experience with kids from one-month-old to ten years and older. It adds up to more than 5000 hours (and counting).

Notable experiences:
- Au Pair experience (2016/2017): Two children aged 2 and 4 in a French-American family (Arlington, Virginia)
- Full-time child-minding (2018): two families at once, 4 children aged 2 and 4. 5 months before starting University in France (45 hours/week).
- Highschool experience (2014-2016): I was helping a mum every day after school with her three children of 6, 4 and 6 months old, and taking care of a 1 year old on Saturdays morning while preparing my A-Levels (equivalent). On half-terms, I would go on holidays with a family and take care of four girls aged 6, 5, 3 and a few months old (+adhoc work with this family, usually on Wednesday afternoons).
- Baby-sitting in the UK (South before moving up North): Three different families on an adhoc basis (I was working as a Marketing Executive + baby-sitting whenever I was needed):
Family 1 (2021-2025): two boys now aged 7 and 4
Family 2 (2022-2025) two girls now aged 6 and 11
Family 3 (2025): twins, boy and girl aged 6, girls aged 8 and 12. We mainly focused on French homework.

It hasn't been a year without baby sitting since the age of 13!

I follow the rythme of the child and adapt to their needs. I believe communication is the key as well as understanding their emotions and making it valuable.
I love doing craft activities with children, I love being creative (creating from scratch, painting, making jewelries, making all sort of paper decoration, collecting leaves and making art from it, cooking and baking...). I am fond of going outside, to the museum or the park, meeting with school friends, helping them develop their curiosity through new activities.

I am motivated and responsible, I am trustworthy. But most of all I am passionate.

I am used to use reusable nappies, I am familiar with baby-led weaning and free movement, I have knowledge of the Montessori approach and I believe in a kind education.

My Qualifications

No official qualifications but over 14 years of baby sitting and more than 5000 hours experience.
First aid certificate (renewed in 2024).
Knowledge of Montessori (interest in the approach and used this method in the United States).
I can provide references.

My Availability

I am available Monday to Friday, and on weekends whenever possible.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £10.42 per hour

Minimum wage
