About Me
**Due to Covid: I am currently only teaching on-line but will teach again face-to-face as soon as it is safe to do so.**
I am an experienced and qualified Primary Maths teacher with 22 years experience in both mainstream and private education.
My Experience
I have taught children in years 2,3,4,5 and 6 and have specialised in helping children improve their results in the Key Stage 2 SAT examinations. In addition, I have tutored children through the 11+ entrance examination to Bolton School (Bonds) and have assisted my own son up to GCSE. I personally have Maths up to A level standard and have studied a maths dominated subject (Control Engineering) at university. I have extensive experience of teaching gifted and talented pupils and have also taught children with SEND in both mainstream and SEND school settings.
My Qualifications
I have Qualified Teacher Status following completing a Post Graduate Certificate of Education course at university. Since then I have taught in primary schools for 22 years.
My Availability
I am currently available for before school, evenings and tutoring during the day for children currently out of school due to school closures.

My Fees
- Tutoring from £29.00 per hour
I charge by the hour, with a 50% discount for the first lesson. Following the first assessment lesson, I will have a discussion with yourselves about how the lesson went, whether your child enjoyed the session and gained anything from it and whether we should continue with lessons from that point.
