About Me

After over 10 years working in an early years setting I decided to venture into a Nanny job position.
I have been extremely fortunate to work for 2 incredible families, but unfortunately due to redundancy in September last year my time came to an end with a very special family. Currently in the process of returning back to my very first family working every Tuesday.
I am a mother of 2. Live in the countryside. Creative, passionate, enthusiastic, big smile, caring, organised, and a general all rounder.

I believe that children learn best through play, nurture, and hands on discovery. I am experienced in understanding a child's characteristics and learning styles, and support their learning through teachable moments. These are moments when a child is most receptive to learning.

Absolutely love going on adventures and being in the outdoors environment. I see the outdoors as a second classroom.

I believe children can develop many skills through the power of play. They may develop their language skills, emotions, creativity and social skills. Play helps to nurture imagination and give a child a sense of adventure. Through this, they can learn essential skills such as problem solving, working with others, sharing and much more.

I have experience of working with children from birth to 5, and i have also worked with primary age. Having so versatile experience with working in a Nursery setting to being a Nanny means I’m a great multitasker and happy to do some household chores. That said my ethos is primarily about the child(ren).

My 2 children are 15 and 9. They are both heavily involved in sport.
My daughter is a competitive swimmer with a very heavy training schedule and my son plays football.
