About Me
I, Lesley Farmer am a registered childminder, who provides care for children from 1 month old to 16 years along with my daughter Beth (11). I live with my husband John, who may at times be present whilst minder children are present, and if possible will escort us on outings.
I offer a service Monday to Friday 07.00 hours to 18.00 hours from 30, Lundin View Leven, If requested I am also available out with these times . I may also be available at short notice depending on places.
Providing care for all ages, I will promote health, safety, and entertainment, and work alongside the parent/carer to offer a ‘home from home’ environment and meet the child’s development emotionally and socially.
Although I do not operate a strict plan I try to introduce into my routine a wide range of activities and experiences, as appropriate to the age group of the children and the time of year and weather conditions. The toddler groups I will attend are:
Leven Baptist Church
Scoonie Church
Leven Centre
I also can do Playgroup, Nursery and School pickups, I am flexible with any of the Leven and Lundin Links area. I would consider all surrounding area including windygates Kennoway and methil area, i am very flexible.

My Experience

Previous employment includes various positions within hotel and catering, which involved organisation, planning and mutli tasking, which are essential to childminding. Also having a child of my own gives me hands on experience and knowing what and how to keep amused!!!!
My Qualifications
I am a membe of the Childminding Association, and regestered with care inspectorate. Completed a first aid course, and have sound knowlege of diet and healthy eating and work to high standards of hygeine, i also hold child protection 3 and Meeting child needs in development, getting it right for every child, developing children self Esteem, infection prevention and control in childcare setting, promoting Positive Behaviour, improving child's learning through play
I also hold a food hygiene certificate and have undergone a course on allergens, as I provide food and have been inspected by the environmental health.
My Availability
At present I have no places available until the start of July 2016
I always like to be able to offer settling in periods before any child starts.
