My Requirements

A professional family are seeking a reliable, caring and responsible Nanny Housekeeper to join them in January 2021.

We have two children – a boy and a girl – who are 11 and 9. During term time the role will entail housekeeping (tidying up, cleaning, bed making and laundry for the family), cooking prep, grocery shopping and managing the children’s uniform and PE bags as well as picking up the children from their private school and after school activities in Hartford. Help with homework will also be required.

During the school holidays the role will become more children focused but ideally the nanny will be happy to continue some housekeeping duties throughout too – although the family are potentially happy to use a cleaner to help during this time if needed.

Our home is lovely and spacious with 5 bedrooms and a large garden. Both children love gaming, sports and the little girl loves imaginatively play with her toys, the boy reading fiction.

We have a cat and a fish but feeding and caring will get taken care of by the children and family. Dad and mum are working most of the time from home at present but this could change if Covid conditions changes.

We would love to find someone who is looking for a long term role – between 3 and 5 years. Additionally, the ideal candidate would be experienced – particularly caring for older children and have a keen interest in cooking/ nutrition and is also happy to take on the housekeeping tasks (roughly 6 – 8 hours per week)

Location: Hartford, Cheshire

Minimum Experience: 2+ years working with children of the same age and in a similar role

Hours: Monday - Thursday. Term time – 32 hrs per week – 11-7pm each day. During the school holidays – additional hours will be needed.

Driver: Yes please – clean license required – own car or one could be provided.

Job Start Date: January 2021

Any specific required training for the role: Childcare qualifications ideally

Pay: Market rate - depending on experience.
