About Me
Hi there! I’m Mercedes, I’m a registered childminder based in Gedling and I offer wrap around care for Willow farm.
I absolutely love working with children and I’m also a mother to a 7 year old.
In my setting we enjoy lots of play based learning, exploring, playing and crafts.
My home offers a safe and nurturing space to care for little ones, an environment where children have access to many fun and challenging games, activities and books. I pride myself on having the knowledge, resources and patience to help guide children in the right direction to prepare them for school and the outside world.
My Experience
I have 12 years experience both working with and caring for children from ages 0-15.
In those 12 years I’ve been a nanny to a family with 3 children and I’ve volunteered in the Westdale infants school for 2 years as part of my work experience towards my teaching assistant qualification. I’ve also worked as a children’s party planner/coordinator for outdoor and nature based parties.
