I’m a reliable, mature and motivated young adult. I enjoy learning and developing new skills- I’m always up for a challenge! I love spending time outdoors whether rain or sunshine. I’m passionate about gardening and landscaping, I believe it’s the best therapy! I’m also very creative and enjoy designing and the occasional painting although I’m not as talented at art as I wish I could be. I work along well with others and am a friendly, approachable character.
My Experience
During my years in school, I was able to volunteer to be a mentor for the younger years, taking time out to help them boost their grades in maths and English. Not only did my mentees become much stronger in those core subjects but they became much more confident in themselves and their ability to achieve high. A few years ago, I also had the privilege of doing work experience at Green Lane Nursery which is a nursery for children with special needs. To this day, I speak about my time there and how it was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. It’s incredible how the nursery has established itself and what a difference it’s made to many lives. I’ve got two young nephews, who I’ve been able to look after on countless occasions, I love spending time with them and getting to see them grow and develop their own individual, wonderful characteristics.
