About Me
I am a university student looking for part time work. Upon applying to retail job after retail job, I realise that I want to do something I will enjoy. I’ve always loved taking care of children. Ever since I was younger, as I was very mature for my age, I was trusted to watch over younger siblings and family members, such as cousins and family friends. I love teaching children, playing with them and spending time with them - as I aim to be a History teacher at the end of my University course.
My Experience
Although I’m not qualified, I have a lot of experience in taking care of children. My Aunty was a midwife and she taught me First Aid for newborns and infants. I’ve taken care of several of her children; I’m still often called upon to take care of my younger cousins. This is something I enjoy doing because it allows me to spend time with my family as well as prepare me for a family of my own one day.
My Qualifications
I am first aid trained in infant and newborn health. I have used this information a few times and I’ve been successful. I don’t have any childcare qualifications, but I’ve been babysitting for a long time and I feel as though experience makes up for lack of qualifications.
My Availability
I am a university student and have classes on Tuesday and Thursday mornings- I am available every other day of the week.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £8.50 per hour
I’ve never charged for my babysitting services, so I don’t know where to start with fees. My rate is based off of the average babysitting earnings and I won’t need payment for travel if within 5 miles.
