About Me
I live with my husband and 2 grown up children - 1 is a primary sch teacher & the other is studying law at uni. We have 2 cats & my son has a lizard. I have a large conservatory that I use as the main playroom along with a decent size garden. I have links with other childminders & the local toddler group. I have been minding since 2006.
My Experience
I have a foundation degree & a level 4 qualification in early years. I have up to date paediatric first aid & safeguarding. My childcare career began by working in a day nursery, then after having my own children, I began supporting children with special needs in mainstream pre schools & nurseries. I was a deputy at a pre school & worked in a Special Needs provision. I was a Portage home visitor and then went on to childminding children with additional needs. I then started working full time as a childminder during the week & had special needs children at weekends. I have experience of working with newborns up to 18 year olds. I understand the importance of promoting independence & academic progress in every child I care for.
My Qualifications
Foundation degree in Early Years, Levels 3 & 4 in Early Years. Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding, Makaton, portage Home Visitor

I work Monday - Thursday & am prepared to be flexible with the hours

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
I charge by the hour. Fees are payable due to child/parent sickness or holidays. I charge full fees for bank holidays but don’t charge for my holidays or sickness.
