My Summary

My Experience

During my gap year I was a childminder for 2 boys aged 4 and 5 for 3 months. As this was during lockdown, I helped them with their online learning and looked after them during school hours. During my gap year I also worked as a teaching assistant at a local primary school for 5 months. The children were aged 3-8 at this school, and I had experience working with all of these ages during my time in the school! Last summer I participated in a cultural exchange program called Camp America, where I was a Camp Councillor in a camp in rural Wisconsin for 2 months! As well as being a camp councillor, I was also swim director at the camp so spent many hours teaching children with swimming in the lake ! My role as a camp councillor meant that I, along with my co-councillor lived in a cabin with 10 children and we woke them up everyday, did activities with them for the whole day, ate dinner with them and then put them to bed everyday! The children at this camp ranged from 7-17 and I have experience with all of these age groups! I also did some adhoc babysitting where I took the children to school and picked them up! I have a DBS certificate and also an ICPC (International Child Protection Certificate) which is essentially similar to a DBS but for international jobs (I was a camp councillor in America last summer).

My Qualifications

I am a certified Lifeguard (Red Cross)
I have achieved grade 8 violin
Currently in my final year of my Japanese and Spanish joint honours degree

I am a University Student, so would be willing to fit this around my studies!

• Babysitting from £11.00 per hour

My rates are £11 per hour
