About Me

Hello,

I have been both a classroom teacher and a tutor for over 10 years.

I believe that every child matters and that every child is an individual. With that in mind, I do all that I can to engage children in the learning whilst also building their confidence. I am flexible and adaptive when it comes to meeting the needs of a child.

My Experience

I have been teaching in the classroom for over ten years. I have experience teaching across all of KS2 (years 3-6) as well as some experience teaching KS1. I have some first-hand experience as a mum because my child was in Year R and Year 1 during the Covid pandemic so I had to brush up on a lot on the KS1 curriculum,.
I have worked with many different children; each with their own learning needs/styles/interests. When I first qualified as a teacher, I tutored on and off. However, I have now been professionally tutoring for at least two years. I am fortunate to have been asked to support a range of families. I am willing to support and encourage across many areas such as; SATs, Home Ed, confidence building and SEND.

My Qualifications

I have a degree in History, a PGCE in Teaching and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).

My Availability

At the moment I am fully booked, but please do get in contact as I can add you to a waiting list. I am also running some sessions over the summer holidays which can't be added here - please let me know if you would like some support over the holidays and I will let you know which sessions I have.

My Fees

Tutoring from £27.00 per hour

I charge £27 an hour, but you can also book 30 mins/45 mins etc which reduces the cost.
