My Experience
• I take the responsibility for the safety and development of the child under my care.
• I observe, assess and develop the child's progress using the Early Years Foundation Stage Development.
• I plan and organise creative educational activities at home such as games, drawing and crafting while implementing the seven areas of development; Communication and language development, Physical development, Personal, social, and emotional development, Literacy development, Mathematics, Understanding the world, Expressive arts and design.
• I assist with nappy changing and with potty training.
• I assist with language development
• I ensure I can create a safe and stimulating environment for the child.
• Administering the right medicine and taking care of children in case of injuries and illness, while also keeping a record for the parents to check.
• Ensuring an excellent relationship with the parents, while maintaining an outstanding communication with parebts regarding their child behaviour, day to day routine and any medication that has been administrated.
• Scheduling naps and teaching children good behaviour, respect, manners and helping with chores when needed.
