Caring, Thoughtful and Fun

Choosing someone to care for my children when I was going back to work was such a huge decision. I really wanted to get it right and make sure my two were happy and I could concentrate at my job knowing they were ok. I looked into various options and settings and chose Handprints Childminding and definitely made the right decision.

Holly provides so many great activities for the children, she is extremely creative and I love the artwork and items my two proudly bring home. As a childminder she also recognises the benefits of nature and spends loads of time outdoors encouraging the children to play, explore and learn about the world around them. But for me what makes Holly exceptional is the time she took to really get to know my children and our little family, and how caring, nurturing and thoughtful she is in every interaction. Holly has been amazing. I have two children with very different little personalities and different abilities and needs, and she has helped both thrive.

One of my children really struggled with separation anxiety and she worked with me to support him to feel safe in her care too. She worked in partnership with me to do this and was incredibly patient and caring throughout, listening to my approach, offering advice and ensuring we worked together to support him. He now runs in without any anxiety and that is testimony to her kind, caring and patient approach. Throughout this she also recognised how difficult it was for me and she took the time to support me too and would send pictures and videos throughout the day to show me how he had settled. This care for me as a parent too meant so much to me.

I am so happy to write this review for her and would recommend her to anyone looking for someone to care for the little ones. My two love their Holly Days 😊
