About Me
Welcome to Wiggles and Giggles Childcare. I am offering a home from home environment for your little ones and hope to provide fun, exciting experiences to help provide the foundation for their development.
I am 34, married with 3 children. I’ve lived and worked in Preston since 2010. I have always had a passion for childcare and it is the only sector I have been employed in.
In the setting the children will have access to a range of equipment in a spacious room. From this room, the children will be able to access a large, secure garden with a unique, purpose built treehouse! The children will have great fun exploring regularly letting their imaginations run wild
My Experience
I have over 15 years experience working with children up to age 11. I have worked in both private day nurseries and school settings. I have extensive knowledge of the EYFS framework and I can fully support parents in their child’s development.
In a previous employment I have been a room manager of a toddler room. I managed the staff alongside creating engaging activities for the children. Being organised and adapting to different situations was essential in this role.
I have also got experience in working in an EYFS primary school setting. Over almost 6 years I have worked with mainly children aged 2-5 and occasionally 5-11. This has helped me gain an better insight into children’s needs and how to support them if needed. I have also supported children with special educational needs, which can be challenging but rewarding also.
At home I have my own 3 children aged 5,9 and 12. They keep me up to date with current interests and trends!

My Availability
I have availability Monday-Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm. I can offer full days or morning/afternoon sessions. I also offer funded places.
As part of my registration I can also offer overnight care. Extra hours and overnight care carries a surplus charge and need to be agreed in advance.

Wiggles and giggles has looked after my daughter for over 18months, Raj is absolutely amazing! She has brought my daughter out of herself after she was a lockdown baby, she’s come on leaps and bounds, I would highly recommend if I could give more than 5 starts I would! The best childminder xx
