About Me
Oliver is a rambunctious 10-year-old with ADHD amongst other difficulties. He attends a special school, which he gets to and from via taxi, so no driving is necessary. However, experience with ADHD and behavioural needs is highly advantageous. Oliver is a character he loves football, his PS5, he likes to tell a joke or two, is full of energy and has the most wonderful imagination!
A bit about me: I’m Oliver’s (very laid-back) mum. I live in Finchampstead in a two-bedroom semi-detached house with Oliver, Bertie (our 1-year-old Golden Retriever pup), and Olive, my elusive cat. I’m about to start my university degree to become a paramedic, so I need a bit of help navigating single motherhood to get through my studies.
My Requirements
Role Requirements:
- Self-employed and Ofsted registered
- Hold a relevant childcare qualification
- Have a clean DBS check or be registered on the DBS Update Service
- Experience with children with ADHD or behavioural challenges is highly desirable
- Comfortable with dogs, particularly puppies
Duties:
- Providing after-school care for my son
- Supporting and supervising from 12pm to 6pm, 3 days a week (Mon, Tues, Thurs) this can be extended for the right person with additional duties added.
- Potential for increased hours from February onwards due to my placement schedule—timing and days are flexible, and this can be discussed in more detail.
Pay:
Negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.
What this mother’s help looks like will depend on the person we meet, and I’m willing to be as flexible as possible for the right person!
