My names Keira and i’m 21 years old. Im a hardworking, warm person with a strong work-drive. I have aspirations to work in the childcare or social care area after completing my level 3 health and social care diploma. I’ve just come home from travelling around south-east asia for 3 months. Before this I worked in tesco and did bank shifts at a childcare nursery near me. This is a lot more what i’m interested in and I loved working in something i’m actually interested in, alongside adhoc babysitting that i’ve done since i was 13. I also have done many after-school pick ups so am happy to do this too. I am on time and dependable and have had many experiences babysitting before along with nannying for a while (references from people i’ve worked for before can be provided if wanted). I can do one-off evenings or more set in stone every week. I can drive and have been for 3 years, and have my own car so school pick ups and drop offs are possible. I also have first aid training as well as mental health first aid training, looking to do a paediatric first aid course too :) Im a massive dog person and love cats too so more than happy to look after any pets, do housework and pretty much anything else!! I also am DBS checked.
My Experience
I have babysat for many other families before of children ranging from babies to 12 years old. Ive had to cook and clean whilst babysitting before so am also available to do that. I’ve nannied part time a few days a week which was great experience and would love to do more of that. I have done weekdays after school and also weekends, whenever is needed.
My Qualifications
Despite not having qualifications in the childminding area, I have a lot of experience with this. I have 9 GCSEs and got distinction stars in my extended health and social care level 3 course at sixth form. This gave me a wide ranged qualification into the childcare, health care and social care settings.
My Availability
I’m working at the moment at tesco but i can be flexible with times and days for the right nannying job.
