About Me

Hello! I am Molly. I am 22 and I currently live at home with my family in Epsom. I have just graduated from the University of Nottingham and am looking for full time work as a nanny. I am a fun, sociable and bubbly person and am incredibly passionate about childcare, as is clear in my extensive experience. My CV is available upon request.

My hobbies include baking, cooking, sports (particularly basketball!), reading and arts and crafts; all of which I would love to implement in a nannying position.

My Experience

I am a dedicated childcare professional with over eight years of experience in various settings. My journey in childcare began at the young age of 14 when I started babysitting, demonstrating an early passion for working with children.

My experience in babysitting and nannying forms the core of my childcare journey. Starting as a babysitter, I built relationships with numerous families over five years, some of which evolved into part-time nanny positions. Since 2015, I've been a regular nanny for multiple families across Epsom, Ewell, Leatherhead, and Ashtead, with some relationships lasting over 8 years. My responsibilities have ranged from school pick-ups and managing extracurricular activities to providing full-day care. I've become adept at creating structured yet flexible routines, preparing nutritious meals, and designing age-appropriate activities that foster learning and development. In these roles, I've also taken on additional tasks such as pet care and house cleaning, realizing that I not only love caring for children but also developing lasting bonds with family units as a whole.

My experience extends to nursery settings as well. I recently worked as relief staff at Nottingham University Busy Bees nursery and as an Early Years Educator at Fennies Nursery in Epsom, navigating all five rooms throughout the day. This role honed my ability to adapt quickly to different age groups and developmental stages, from infants to pre-schoolers. I've also been a teaching assistant at Stamford Green Primary School Nursery, where I focused on supporting early years education and took initiative in developing new projects based on children's interests.

In addition to these roles, I've volunteered at my local Rainbow pack for three years, further demonstrating my commitment to childcare. I've also worked as an Activity Playworker at a local primary school's after-school club for three years, managing children's behaviour and coordinating meal times in a 'family service' style. My experience as a sports coach at holiday camps and as a swimming teacher has taught me various games and activities suitable for children of all ages.

Throughout my career, I've prioritised children's safety, wellbeing, and development. I'm well-versed in safeguarding procedures, first aid, and creating environments that encourage both independence and social skills. My recent graduation with a high 2:1 in Liberal Arts has further enhanced my ability to provide intellectually stimulating care across all age groups.

Whether in a home, nursery, or group setting, my goal is always to create a nurturing, fun, and educational environment where children can thrive. I bring creativity, patience, and a genuine love for childcare to every interaction. I'm excited about the opportunity to support your family's unique needs and routines.
