Antoinette has been looking after my little girl and it has been such a pleasure to have someone so passionate about what they do. I feel also very lucky as Antoinette has years of experience which shows in her work as she is very professional and organised. She interacts really well with my little girl, teaching her new things and healthy routines. She volunteers to help us with odd things around the house. She is also very knowledgeable. I learn lots from her each time she comes about health, child development and genenal childcare tips :)

Thank you so much for your truthful and kind words. I enjoy looking after your little one, very much.
I write this review with two hats on, both as a mother and a professional working as a senior clinician in children’s mental health services.
As a first time mum, I was apprehensive about starting my journey to look for childcare support for our toddler son. I booked to meet Antoinette for an interview, having met with other individuals from this site, and the quality of care Antoinette provides gave her the real edge.
She immediately bonded with our son, and I noted her careful care and attention to supporting his needs from a developmental and wellbeing perspective. Indeed, she is skilled in shaping behaviour, applying boundaries and using a strengths based approach which is fun and interactive for children.
From a professional perspective, safeguarding is a high priority. I am assured that our son is safe with Antoinette and she has demonstrated an in depth knowledge of protective care.
Antoinette has been very reliable and has developed a very good rapport with our son. I look forward to continuing working with her and would highly recommend.

Thank you for posting this honest review. I look forward to seeing more of your little family.
Sad having to leave this review but feel it's appropriate to warn any potential parents engaging with Antoinette. Whilst i can't comment on her quality of care, her reliability is lacking. Antoinette reached out to me after posting the advert. We interviewed Antoinette and following week, invited her to spend a few hours with our baby boy. He seemed to like her from the get-go, so we offered her a job then. She accepted and sent us the contract, which needed some minor tweaks. We agreed to iron these out during her next visit. A week or so later, and just under 3 weeks before my return to work (FTM), Antoinette informed us she took a job elsewhere. At such short notice, we are left scrambling with very limited options and in position where instead of having a preference, we are having to take what is left available (only 1 childminder in the area with space). We hoped to keep our boy in familiar environment to soften the blow of my return to work, but are instead feeling he is unprepared with very little time to adapt to a long day away from home, familiar people and myself (the childminder available is pending a visit!). As far as Antionette is concerned, this is still reasonable notice which only highlights her lack of empathy and understanding towards parents facing their first return to work and consideration how big of a change it is for the baby.

A 3 hour trial session
After our initial meeting, I heard nothing for 2 weeks. Then I was asked to babysit for 3 hours. I was then offered the job. But over the next week, Alex changed days & hours - so I declined the position.
