My Summary
About Me
I am an enthusiastic, self-motivated, reliable, responsible and hard-working person. I am a mature team worker and adaptable to all challenging situations. I can work well both in a team environment as well as using own initiative. For the past 10 years I have been a carer for my mom who struggles with DID. This has taught me to be a very caring person, I always try to do things to put others before myself but also a very hard-working person, who has patience. I am a very creative person; I always have been, and this has helped me in previous jobs being able to think outside of the box in different situations.
Due to my current situation if you hired me and if suitable for you I would come into your homes and support your children from their homes.
My Experience
My experience in schools is just over a year long in a SEMH/SEN school, assisting teachers with activities with the class that contains 6 students, one child that I have built up a relationship with and became his 121, with my 121 I would assist him with his lessons as he was at a different level to the rest of the children in the class so this would mean I would do his lessons with him separately and ensure he maintained a good level of work. My 121 would struggle with his lessons due to multiple reasons, so it was very important for me to find ways that were fun and productive to ensure he got a good level of work done.
I have supported my mom and younger sister with showering/ washing, cooking/ cleaning, taking medication, eating/ cooking and a lot more. My mom has DID (dissociative identity disorder) and my younger sister with her CRPS (chronic region pain syndrome).
whilst most of my experience isn't professional I think I still have they key traits a professional would have due to my caring responsibilities
