My Requirements

We are looking for a part-time help with our autistic 7-year-old little boy. He is fully mobile and very well behaved and easy going. He does have some basic medical needs, so we need you to be willing to learn how to meet them, but full training will be provided. Basic personal care will be required too. You will be required to work alongside mum to accompany the disabled child on days out. At times, you will be at home with the child, while the parents are out with the Sibling. We can offer up to 6 hours a week on either Saturday or Sunday (not all weekends will be necessary, so you can have some of them off if you wish to). At times, we may need you to babysit in the evening instead of working on the weekend, but that can be discussed and agreed on in advance. We will need you more, minimum twice a week on school holidays (days and times to suit you and us). Occasionally, and only if it suits your other commitments, you may be asked to take or collect the child from a local school, however, this lever of flexibility is not essential.
