About Me

I have a five year old son and three year old daughter and am due a daughter at the beginning of August. We don't have much local family support.

My Requirements

Part Time Nanny
Mothers Help

I'm looking for a kind, experienced nanny to help care for my newborn two days per week (approximately 9am–4pm) starting in mid-September. I’ll be on maternity leave but would like support so I can stay connected with my two part-time roles, as well as rest and manage daily tasks more easily.

I’m expecting a c-section and hope to be well-recovered by the time this role starts. I plan to breastfeed, but I’ve also easily expressed milk for bottle feeding in the past and hope to do so again. It's important to me that my baby is comfortable with bottles, as my husband and I will be sharing feeding duties, especially ahead of his shared parental leave, which starts in March.

In the early weeks, your support might involve baby care, light meal prep, or keeping things calm while I catch up on sleep. From December to March (when maternity pay ends, though excluding 2-3 weeks over the Christmas period), I’ll be increasing my work during these nanny hours, so it will become more focused on giving me dedicated time to work while you care for the baby.

We’re a friendly, relaxed household and are looking for someone who is confident with newborns, reliable, and warm.

Please get in touch if this sounds like a good fit - I'd love to chat.
