About Me
Our little boy was born in September 2020 and our little girl in February 2023. We have a busy family life with various commitments throughout the week and we need an extra pair of hands at times. We have a small, friendly and well-behaved dog so anyone who comes to help with childcare would need to be happy around dogs! We have lovely walks around here and a big garden with far-reaching views and plenty of outdoor play activities.
My Requirements
We have one little boy, born September 2020 and a baby girl born February 2023. I’m looking for a mother’s helper - someone to help out with preparing and cleaning up the children’s meals, laundry, tidying toys, sorting outgrown clothes, helping with play activities or being an extra pair of hands when out and about. I’m finding I never get time to play with my children as I’m constantly juggling and dealing with life admin! So I’d love to find someone who can take some of that load to give me some free time with my little ones!
Our son has some special needs so if you have experience of that it would be a bonus. He is bright, engaging, excels at certain things (reading, memory, very observant) but struggles with others (getting dressed, impulsivity, social conversation, anxiety). He loves the little things in life, nature and the outdoors and is full of fun and laughter.
Our daughter is a bright little thing with good conversation skills. She is caring and helpful but also has strong 2-year-old opinions about certain things! Generally we can rationalise with her and she's pretty easy going. She is fun and funny just like her brother. She loves animals, playing outside and being active.
Both children love books and being read to, they eat well and have a varied and relatively healthy diet and they love the outdoors. We enjoy going out and about as well as playing at home but everything is made a lot easier if there are two adults to help manage things like dressing, preparing meals, packing to get out the door, navigating car parks, shops, toilet trips and keeping two small people safe when away from home.
I don't have specific times of the week at this stage but would more likely have an ad hoc requirement on an ongoing basis. Things will change a bit in September when our son starts at the local school but in advance of that I am keen to find someone who can help with some of the juggling during the next few weeks and the holidays and possibly around school or at weekends during term time.
Must be non-smoker.
Thanks
