About Me
I am a fully qualified primary school teacher and an Ofsted registered childminder.
I live in Burnage with my husband, and 2 children.
I have a strong understanding of the transition that happens from home to nursery/reception for children and I understand how daunting this can be for both children and parents. My aim is to focus on early learning outcomes, that will allow children to begin school with confidence and stability.
I strongly believe in having a warm, inviting and friendly environment where your child will be encouraged to develop and grow according to the 7 areas of learning set out in the EYFS curriculum.
I have a spacious, downstairs living area - which is the main space for my setting. This leads on through patio doors in to a well-fenced garden with both grass and stoned areas that consist of outdoor toys for children to play with.
In order to focus on the Early Years learning outcomes, I use a wide range of resources including tuff tray activities, games, puzzles, soft toys, role play, vehicles and much more. I have a wide range of Early Years reading books, as I am a strong and passionate advocate of reading and storytime.
I also have a spacious, downstairs toilet which allows children ease of access. Our local park is just a 30 second walk, and with a quad pram I do take advantage of this!
My Experience
I have over 7 years experience of working as a primary class teacher in Manchester, Luton & London.
Due to being a qualified teacher, I also have CPD/training in many aspects of teaching, including Safeguarding, Classroom Management, Behaviour Management, Communication etc.
With regards to toddlers, I have much personal experience with small children, as well as my own two boys too!
My Qualifications
My qualifications are as follows:
> Bachelors (BA) in Sociology at Manchester Metropolitan University
> Masters/Level 7 (MA) in Education at University of Huddersfield
> PGCE (QTS) in Primary Education at Edgehill University
> Paediatric First Aid (2027)
> Advanced Childcare Level 4

My daughters been going to Sana’s since the start of the 6 weeks holidays, she settled in straight away and absolutely loves it. Sana takes her on days out to the park and library & helps her with some education to prepare for the next school year, she’s also very accommodating if I need to swap days/times. Will 100% be using Sana again 🙂

Sana was incredible with my son. Usually, he cries every time I leave him with someone, and for the first time, he didn’t it.
She’s very welcome and easygoing. Paid full attention and took care very well.
I am very pleased to found someone that I can trust and mainly my son’s enjoyed.

I needed childcare last minute and Sana was there to help! She worked around my hours and looked after my little boy like her own. He became so familiar, that he didn’t want to leave in the end!

I used to drop my little boy here to Sana at Cute Cub’s just before the Summer break. I was so satisfied with her friendly and relaxed approach towards his learning and development. She was able to provide so much learning and play for him and even let him take reading books home too! Sana was always communicative and if I ever needed to change things around, she was more than happy to help! I will definitely be sending my little boy here in the Autumn holidays.
