Hi I’m Sheena, graded Good Ofsted registered childminder based in Trumpington, Cambridge, close to Addenbrookes.
I am a mum of three, they are all now in primary/secondary school.
Im a fun energetic, creative and friendly caring person available for childminding.
Caring homely environment, with indoor play area as well as an enclosed back garden, lots of trips out in our local community. Following EYFS curriculum. We have a 8 year old Labrador. Available for pick up at Fawcett school.
My Experience
18 years professional experience with children in multiple settings, working in nursery’s, hospital and disability child care. I’ve looked after children aged newborn to 18. Experience working with children with additional needs and with complex health needs. I hold a level 3 in child care, paediatric first aid, Makaton sign language.

My daughter has been looked after by Sheena (and her colleague, Bex) since she was nine months old (now two). She's really happy there and I think she has really benefitted from being part of a mixed age group in a family home setting. Sheena often takes them out on walks and trips further afield, which I think is great. She has also been incredibly flexible, and was a total superstar when my mum was very ill for several weeks. They eat a healthy, balanced diet and do a variety of activities throughout the day, often associated with different themes. I'm kept up to date on key information throughout the day via an app, and Sheena often shares photos with me by WhatsApp too, which I really appreciate.
Overall, I would highly recommend Sheena to anyone seeking childcare in a homely setting.

We needed emergency childcare for our two little ones. Sheena was able to meet us the same day we spoke with her and showed us around. The children are very well catered for in her home and its evident to see that Sheena puts a lot of effort and thought into her care and the activities for the children. We received photos and were kept updated throughout the day. Thank you :) Definitely recommend!
