Hello! I'm Julia and I live near Dundonald Park with my son who will be 4 in August.
My Requirements
I'm looking for an after-school nanny to collect my son from Dundonald Primary School and take him home which is a five minute walk away. Pick up would be at 15:15 and I'd get home around 17:30 but we could look at it being a 3 hour booking for each day (Mon-Thu) if that helps get your hours up.
My son is diagnosed autistic with learning difficulties and currently non-verbal. He does have comprehension and is very happy in himself. He likes to do a lot of solo play so it would be lovely if you could spend a bit of time trying to engage him to develop his play skills. Equally he'd appreciate some time out so it shouldn't be too taxing. His favourite things are numbers and anything Hey Duggee related!
It would be a bonus if you have experience of children who are developmentally delayed or have SEN but really I'd be happy with any trustworthy, emotionally intelligent and caring individual who is confident about responding to a child who whilst happy and fun is also a bit different. My son has managed in mainstream nursery, likes routines and follows instructions so I don't want anyone to feel too daunted. In many ways he's quite an easy child.
