My Experience

I currently work as Class Teacher at a Primary School in Camden (ages 3-11), have a PGCE from UCL and an Undergraduate Degree from Cambridge University. I have experience and relevant resources to be able to plan and teach children aged 3-11 in line with the National Curriculum.

I get to know every child I teach as an individual, to understand where their current knowledge and skill level is on any given day and I am flexible and imaginative in how to extend that at every opportunity. I plan, teach and assess differentiated lessons, enabling all children to be challenged and stretched on a daily basis across the curriculum. To assist me in doing this I get to know each child, their experiences in life, their interests, what makes them laugh and what they struggle with or worries them. Forming trusted relationships with each child and their family is the foundation for creating a safe environment for building confidence, curiosity and care - key to successful learning!

I have high expectations for the children in terms of both their behaviours, development as learners and learning outcomes. I’m organised, have resources well-prepared, have good subject knowledge and a strong presence, provide positive reinforcement, reminders and questioning so that the children are engaged and happy to learn.

3 As at A Level (Maths, Art, History of Art)
4A*s, 10 As at GCSE (inc. English, Maths and Three Sciences)

My Availability

Monday and Tuesdqy evenings from 5pm onwards.

• Tutoring from £60.00 per hour
