About Me

I have worked in childcare through out my life and have loved every part of my journey. I feel that I have grown so much in my care. I’m very aware alert about a child’s surroundings and very interactive which I think is very important. I have experienced and knowledge of the EYFS. I’ve had key children and know how to assess a child. I love to help children develop not only academically but their little characters and personalities.

My Experience

Hello, I have nearly 5 years experience in childcare. Both working in a school environment as a nursery teacher and in a private home as a nanny.
I have achieved my level 3 childcare qualification, and have gained a lot of love and respect for the work I do. I feel that I'm right for the position as I'm full of energy and love to bring light to every situation. My work experience has taught me how to be reliable and authoritative, yet fair with children. I take my job very seriously and enjoy working with children and being an important part of a child's development. I'm hoping to gain more experience doing something I respect and enjoy.

My Qualifications

Level 3 childcare I have worked in a
Nursery and earned my level through as a apprenticeship. Learning about the EYFS and learning the polices and daily run of the nursery. My daily job duties would be arranging daily activity in different learning areas. Following up on assessments on my key children. Attending meeting with parents to discuss child’s progression. Prepare meals/snacks. Reporting any accidents in the nursery.

I have also worked as a babysitter for 10 months years from ages 6 month to 10 years which I would mainly pick up kids from school and supervise at home, cook healthy meals, take kids to outdoor play, do fun activities which sometimes bring with me, Keeping the area clean, nappy changes/feeding helping them with homework/ tutoring.

This lady asked for cash. I said I was going to be at work by the time she was leaving my kids and will like to transfer. She insisted on cash. I agreed my husband will give her cash at the end of the day. Very Dodgy insisting on cash. Eventually cancelled on me in the morning she was meant to come and left me stranded as I was meant to go into work.

Response by Avatar for Nia Nia on 28/10/2024:

Hello Jane, I explained to you in the morning on my way to the job I had slipped down stairs on a bus and injured my need. I had to go hospital as it was badly swollen. They told me not to put any weight on it. For the cash I also message you the night before to tell you my bank account is messed up ATM and is blocked I didn't have time to unblock it. So I asked nicely to be payed in cash so I could have money to travel to you the next other days you wanted me to work for you. You forgot to mention that I've also sent you my id and have already worked for you from 9.45 to 12.45 which I made sure I was extra early since I live so far. Also you payed me by bank transfer that afternoon. So theres nothing doggy about anything, I've unfortunately had an accident I've even sent you a picture of my knee. Sorry to inconvenience you but it was out of my control, but I think this review is very spiteful. Especially since I did nothing wrong and contacted you to see if you got cover.
