I'm a positive, upbeat childminder who encourages individuality and celebrating the uniqueness of each child in my care. As a caregiver, I want your child to feel confident and safe to explore and learn through free play and structured activities. I have experience of caring for children with Autism and ADHD, underpinned with strategies and training to support their needs. These are brilliant transferrable skills which benefit all children.
I live in a spacious 3 bedroom house, with a dedicated playroom which offers direct access to my fully enclosed garden so your child can enjoy both indoor and outdoor play. I offer a home from home approach, so children feel comfortable and relaxed when they are with me.
I have a range of age toys at home to help children develop their skills and meet their milestones but also I enjoy taking children to explore the world around them. We often go to Chessington World of Adventures, Bocketts farm, local parks, garden centres and soft play so your child can socialise and experience different environments, like they would if they were with you.
I am an inclusive childminder and believe children should be taught about differences and diversity. With this in mind, I have an annual events calendar, so we can learn about various celebrations, such as Christmas, Diwali, Chinese New Year, Easter and Eid. We also follow seasonal themes, including growing and releasing butterflies in the summer and making bird feeders during the winter.
I want every child to feel comfortable and valued, so encourage families to provide pictures of important people, bring things in for show and tell, and we celebrate birthdays with a tea party and cake.
In partnership, we can provide your child with a strong foundation to grow and develop to their full potential.
Please feel free to contact me to discuss your requirements.

Our son has been attending Amy's setting for about 8 months and we couldn't be happier with our choice of care. We are both incredibly thankful to have found such an amazing childminder. After using 2 previous childminders and also visiting many other potentials in the area, we realised even after our first meeting that we had finally found the perfect match.
Thanks to Amy's bubbly personality and caring manner, our son settled in extremely quickly. Amy devoted lots of time to getting to know his little personality and quickly worked out how best to care for him, including favourite foods, activities and when he's simply in need of a calm quiet cuddle. Amy even organises her daily routine to allow our son to fulfill one of his favourite jobs of feeding her friendly dog.
Any child would instantly fall in love with Amy's carefully planned setting and garden. With toys to suit every interest, I know our son has free choice to develop his own interests and learn through carefully guided play. The progress he has made with his speech has really impressed us, from starting with just simple words to now using full sentences and expressing his emotions, it's clear this is due to Amy's effort and interactions. Amy also shows high importance to developing personal and social skills. This is easy to notice through the way our son is encouraged to interact, share and listen to other children in her setting. In a short time Noah has already formed friendships with our children in Amy's care and the social skills he has learnt with Amy have been easy to see at home during sibling interactions. Amy ensures all children are supported to learn and use their manners, we have been very impressed with our son's answers of 'yes please'...'no thank you'... 'sorry Mummy'.. even naturally using his manners more than his older sister! Amy takes the time to praise these important skills and we were super proud on receiving his first certificate for kindness!
In addition to providing a caring, stimulating home environment, Amy ensures children can explore further during a range of different outings. We have been astonished with the types of outings our son has enjoyed so far, ranging from exciting zoos, farms, theme parks, splash zones, soft plays and other age appropriate experiences. The photos and videos we receive during the day really make us smile and brighten up our day! Our son even spent his 2nd birthday with Amy, who ensured his day was perfect filled with all of his favourite activities. It was clear to see all the hard work and effort she had put in to making his day super special, we couldn't have been more thankful.
We are both extremely happy with the care and attention our son receives with Amy and we know she truly does have his best interests at heart. In a very short time we feel he has become part of her family and treated in the most loving way. We look forward to him making many more memories there, and hope to keep the special bond they share way into his school years. We would 100% recommend Amy and her lovely setting to any future parents.
My 2years old boy has been going to Amy for 4months now and he LOVES going there! So much so that we are increasing from 2days to 4!
Having to change childminder ( stopped her business and things didn’t go well…) I was anxious in trying to find a good fit for our boy and us. As soon as we met Amy we knew it was a hit! E loves going to Amy and has made great progress since starting with her! We couldn’t ask for anyone better to look after our boy! I feel relieved that we can trust her 100% to look after him and to know he is in safe hands during the day. Amy is super caring and attentive and does a lot with the children soft play, singing going to the park… We get some updates during the day and send some pictures too! Amy is always happy to speak to us when we have questions… We totally recommend her!
Amy is taking care for our two daugthers -1year old full time and 5 yr old after school. Both of them are very happy with Amy. Little one (1yr old) needed exactly two days to settle in and almost every time when need to be picked up, we have issues taking her home (she does not like to
Leave Amy’s place). Her development as most important is taken very good care of by Amy with full day activities. Playgroups, soft plays holiday events is just part of the programe that Amy provides. Bigger daughter (5years old) cant wait for “Amy” day when she gets picked up from school by Amy.
We had very bad experience with Nurseries hence we decided to try with Amy on the smaller one and offcourse did not take long for the older To express her interest Communication is great and daily reports are always avilable describing end to end activities food rest etc. each day. When both of them see Amy they jump to her meaning they realy enjoy the time there.
I would recomend Amy for each aspect of childcare as she proved to be a great profesional and lovely person to leave your kids with. Feel free to reach out for any personal recomendation.
